Im not good at this..

I always think about blogging during the day, but never have time. The past few weeks have been pretty crazy. I got in a big fight with my bosses wife (she is crazy) and ended up losing my job. Well that would suck, if I had not already been offered a great job making more$$$. I have a 2 week break inbetween jobs so I am doing some temp work so I dont go crazy from boredom. I wanted to keep Avery at Sandies (her nanny) so she could keep up with curriculem and not get behind. Well last week I got a temp job working at a model home in Prosper. Basically I just sit in a HUGE house (when i say HUGE i mean HUUUUGE) and wait for people to come in that are interested in touring one. Well not 1 person came in. It was so boring. I was scared to death too. The lady mentioned to me that there had been 3 roberies in 3 weeks in that house. WOW. Thanks lady. I feel really safe here. Did i mention i had to stay in the house all alone all day. IN THE MIDDLE OF NOWHERE! Anyways, last weekend was ok. Mikeys grandmother came in to town and met Avery for the first time. Avery was a little stinker at first (terrible 2s) but she warmed up. My dad came into town also. We always have fun when he comes in town. Avery absolutely adores him. We celebrated Caseys (my brother) 32nd birthday at my sister and Mikes house on Sunday. It was so fun. We introduced them to a little game we like to call Beer Pong. Casey got carried away and had a little too much fun. I will post his blackmale pics later haha. He took pics of me passed out in a field in the middle of an ant pile on my 21st birthday. I finally got him back :)!!! Anyways, Monday was ok. Mikey had the day off bc of Martin Luther King day. He stayed at Mikes and played guitar hero all day. BORING haha. My dad took me, my mom, bay and avery to lubys. It used to be my fav place ever. It was okay. Its gotten pretty expensive for the food you get lol. It was raining all weekend so we didnt hang outside much. We mostly sat by the fire at my parents house and watched movies. Monday night we went to Mikeys parents house to say bye to his grandma. Jon, Angela and Ellie (their puppy) also came. They are so funny with avery. Jon likes to make animal noises with Avery haha. The past few nights I have had such a problem falling asleep. I dont know what is wrong with me. I try and try but cant seem to fall asleep. O well maybe i will get out of this rut. Today I am working a temp job right next to Malcolm Pirnie. I think the biggest mistake i have ever made was leaving that job. It was hard at times, but i didnt realize how much i loved those people. You will never find a group of people that make you feel more like family then that job. Ugh if i coudl go back in time i definitely would. O well i have this new job starting monday and its going to be great!! Well im going to go now. I need to at least pretend to be doing something haha.

So much for blogging everyday.....

So I have already messed up on my plan to blog everyday. haha. O well. Nothing too interesting happened yesterday. Mikey got his new camera! I had his dad do research on a great camera to get him. I went the week after Xmas and got the "perfect" camera. Well I couldn't wait until our anniversary (Jan 6) to give it to him, so i surprised him early. Well, he OF COURSE didn't like it. Whatev dude. I tried. He wanted a different camera from a different store, in WHITE. After threatening the life of the customer service lady at Best Buy she let me return the camera to get the one he wanted. I don't know why it is such a big freaking deal to return a camera the is UNOPENED! o well, that's the last time I buy electronics. Anyways, Mikey got me a beautiful diamond anniversary band for my wedding ring. It is gorgeous! I was so excited.

I cooked last night. I never cook so Mikey took a picture of me doing it haha. I will post those pics later. I had some bad experiences as a child while trying to cook, so I got discouraged. I have 5 dishes that I can successfully make without asking questions and without looking at a recipe.
1. Pork Chops (just like my mom makes them)
2. Pasta Salad
3. Beef Stew
4. Fried Eggs
and the new item on my list..... drum roll please.......
5. Chicken Fried Rice

I know those are ridiculously easy dishes for pretty much everyone in the world, but I am happy with my accomplishments. Besides, my husband LOVES to cook. So why stop him from doing something he loves right?

Avery had a really good night last night. She ate my chicken fried rice! She hasn't been eating dinner lately. She is just going through a phase, but it sucks for me. I feel so bad that she might be hungry in the middle of the night, so if she cries AT ALL i get her a cup of whole milk. Well, last night she slept the ENTIRE night without making a peep. (i put a humidifier in her room also) but i think it is because she was so full off of my amazing dinner. :)

I am pretty excited about the weekend. This week has gone by soooo slow! Alicia and Mike found out that there is a new Texas Road House by their house. That is amazing news to us. That is our favorite place to eat ever! Also my friend Brandi is celebrating her 22 birthday so we get to go out for that. Yay for grandparents that are willing to watch her on a Saturday night. haha. Well I am out of things to talk about. Not of exciting stuff going on right now.

My First Post

This is my first post ever and I am really excited! A good new years resolution for me is to keep up with this blog and at the end of the year make it into a book. That sounds fun right? Well since its already the 7th I will tell you a little about the the begining of 2008. We celebrated at my sister Alicia and her fiance Mike house. It was just the 4 of us, including Noah and Avery. (Bailey was with Nana and Pops). We started out the night watching the ball drop in New York and watching Tila Tequila make a fool of herself on her stupid countdown. After that we decided to play a little game that we got for Christmas from Jon and Angela. It's called Catch Phrase. Basically you try to get your team to guess what the phrase is on the game and then pass it to the oposite team before the buzzer goes off. Well Mikey got a little excited and threw it to me when i wasnt ready. Yep you guessed it. RIGHT IN MY FACE! I have a cut on my forehead perfectly inbetween my eyes. That ended the game for the night. Avery was so good. She stayed up until about 10:00 and then went and laid down in Baileys room and watched cartoons. She is such a good baby!

Enough with New Years. I have to brag a little big on my daughter. She is so smart. She is 20 months old and can count to 13 in english, 10 in spanish and sing her ABC's. How incredible is that? She impresses us everyday with new stuff she can do. I took her to the park this weekend on her new tricicle (Uncle Jon and Aunt Angela bought it for her) she loves it. We went to the park and she had such a great time. She went down the big kid slide probably 30 times. She would climb all the steps and go down the slide and do it all over again. She had a blast! We came home and ate with daddy and went to bed. The next morning she woke up coughing with a barky cough (Croupe sounding). I was so scared she was getting Croupe. That would be 4 times in 5 months. I put the humidifier in her room and gave her some meds. Her and Mikey were sick all day Sunday. No fun for me. Poor babies.

Well I am out of things to talk about right now so I will blog tomorrow (hopefully) :)
